There was an article in HMN about the Wonder Worker. It was bought new at Dan McGuinness Chrysler Plymouth in Cincinatti and raced at Edgewater Dragway. Then it was sold to a guy in Kentucky who eventually raced as Wonder Worker II.
That’s it ! When I was a kid the insert was painted Blue , with the Wonder Worker letter in white . That was one bad dude in its day . I can remember “ Larry “ firing it up and I’d jump on my Crate bicycle , flying up the street to see and hear it . The ground would shake around that thing . Larry , was the most modest man , one would ever meet . If you didn’t know better you’d swear he was a nerd . He was a parts manager at a local Chevrolet Dealer , for years . The Wonder Worker left and a 63 Corvette , 327 / 365 Fuel Car took its place in the garage .
