As a kid I remember friends Dad had a Kaiser he used for his pluming business that had the spare tire mounted in the passenger side rear door ( four door sedan ) with a fold down seat back in the rear and the split rear door effectively making the car a three door. The tire was accessed by opening that door in the event of a flat tire eliminating the need to move all your belongings to get to the tire. My Dad also had a Kaiser. In Its day, as now great cars.
