I've owned cars like that with pedals in the floor, the hand brake, the steering column with a clamp on turn indicator, a clear plastic thing wrapped around it for your registration, a starter pedal with the bendix on the floor, NO heater, vacuum wipers, NO radio, cowl vent... I didn't own it at the time because it was cool. I owned it because I needed a car. Along with everything else, you got falling or no headliner, rattling doors and windows with rotting insulation, doors that could fly open on a turn, oil slicks where ever you parked, smoke from the tailpipe, ad a quart or 2 of oil every time you got gas . Be thankful they don't build them like they used to.
