Hello, This old photo is well known in So Cal. It was presented in Kustomrama years ago in a different form, but the location is ingrained in So Cal hot rod history. The location is just across the I-5 freeway from the giant green park called Elysian Park in Los Angeles, near the Los Angeles River. Most folks would know Elysian Park as the home field of the L.A. Dodgers in Chavez Ravine. But, long before the baseball field was built and sometimes even these days, the area is so large that Hollywood tv and film industry uses it for backdrops of various shows and movies. Jnaki The location is in an area that has some local hills and in contrast to this flat land area near the L.A. River. Louis Banto and Sal Macchia's 1927 Ford Model T Roadster at 3304 N. Figueroa around 1950. Sal and Louis ran the Mobil Oil Service Station at the address. Today: a security plus neighborhood... YRMV
