@jimmy six Hey J6, My wife and I have eaten at both of Tom Ham's Lighthouse Restaurant on Harbor Island and at the Bali Hai on Shelter Island a few miles on the other island area. Both are still open and both have outstanding service, as well as great food. The webcam of the San Diego Harbor is still active and it is based on top of the Shelter Island Restaurant. So, if one cannot go to this fabulous harbor, at least you can see it live at all hours of the day. Saturdays/Sundays are quite busy with activity. Jnaki My wife noticed that there is a dock in front of the Shelter Island restaurant. So, if one had a powerboat or sailboat and you wanted lunch or a nice dinner, call ahead and dock space is always available instead of the packed parking lot. YRMV
I remember the first time I saw the Capital Records building. It reminded me of a stack of 45's on a record changer...just as it was intended to do. Remember? You had to have a special changer for the 45's or you had to have inserts for 45's to use the standard 33 1/3, 78 changer.
Wow! Thanks for that amazing history. Fokker sounds familiar. Now that I have your attention did Fokker build aircraft for the Nazis?
I think there's 8 Big Boys left. I have seen 4 of them. The one from Cheyenne is traveling around right now. I THINK it's the only one running.
