About the early soap box cars in Oregon. A local machist ran the wheel bearings with rouge [polish] and his kids repeatedly won in Oregon - year after yr. Then the organisers later issued the wheels to each national contender. One of the kids bragged later in life. Newc

 

looks like a Crosley to me.
