Rene Dreyfus probably sometime in the early 1930s. Dreyfus won the 1930 Monaco Grand Prix for Bugatti as well as other races and hill climbs. One of his biggest wins was in the 1938 Pau Grand Prix where he beat the government backed Mercedes team driving, of all things, a Delahaye. He ended up as an American citizen running a well known French restaurant, Le Chanteclair, in New York City.
