    Same here. My grandpa bought a little cabin in Moonridge in the early 60's. Was in our family until '17. I can remember going the front way and my cousin always getting car sick. Once 38 was re routed to Big Bear in the mid 60s, that's the way we went.

    When the USN put the battleship back in commission, barrels were made or relined in the WWII gun plant in Pocatello, Idaho. They were shipped to the desert firing range that was used when the ship was new, 40 miles west of Idaho Falls for test firing. We could hear them firing here in I.F..
