1956 factory 210 Chevy two door wagon Hello, We have always liked Chevy wagons. During the 1960 drag racing season, we were doing quite well with our 292 c.i. SBC motor with a 671 supercharger in our 40 Willys Coupe. So, as our goal was to drive back to the 1960 U.S. Nationals, we needed a station wagon to pull it across the USA. A station wagon to allow us to pull over in campgrounds and motels along the way. From Long Beach to Detroit was the longest drive we were planning for September 1960. My brother liked yellow, the same color he was thinking of painting the 40 Willys. My choice was going to be silver with lettering, etc. But, that chapter came to a fast close in August 1960. Jnaki So, what would our So Cal version of a Chevy 210 two door wagon look like? My wife and I saw a completed station wagon parked along the curb in an industrial area of another coastal city and that was what a new version would be. Silver would have been nice, but yellow was too far out there. For 1960 sponsors, perhaps a bright yellow color and drag racing records would have sealed the bid. 2025’s era version for a daily driver for both my wife and I to do our normal errands plus, visits to our granddaughter. 2 old folks cruising around in a nice station wagon in So Cal coastal areas...?
