Think that flat six is ok.What I don't really cotton onto is that every day fan belt doing all those directional changes while driving things. I know...VW's had one single belt doing the same job...but,all in one plane.

 

What!...Only ONE? Come on!!

 

England...in the Sixties. If you can remember it...You were'nt there.

All that needs is skirts on the back. To be really good...I mean.

 

Did I forget to say...I really love skirts!

 

Skirts! I'm wondering...what drove the rodding/power thing,the beginning, in the late 40's/early 50's. Was it young blokes back from the war with experience of unheard of power in fighter planes,bombers/tanks/all wheel drive and tracked vehicles etc.? Just on a high from victory? Then back to civvie street..and....what. Over to any that may have an insight. Cheers,Rob.
