Augie Pabst in his Meister Brauser Scarab. Augie later became VP of the Pabst Brewing Company and left a legacy of accomplishments. He passed away on Oct. 9, 2024 at the age of 90. RIP Mr. Pabst.
I’m pretty sure Mr. Pabst’s mother was a Uihlein and it was David Uihlein that started the Harry A. Miller club that hosts the Miller Meet held at the Milwaukee Mile.

    End of gas rationing -
In August 1945, with World War II suddenly coming to an end, Rhode Island motorists were able to once again fill their tanks without the need for rationing stamps. This station was on the Post Road in the Cowesett section of Warwick, RI.

In 1961, a Providence Journal artist superimposed a question mark over a gas pump to illustrate a story on prices once again rising. Here, Joseph De Santo changes the prices on a pump in Cranston.
