OK, I don’t think I have posted any of these before. My grandfather was the photographer for an officer looking for things towards the end of the War. He made an album with HUNDREDS of these photos including some from inside the Eagle’s Nest and of the destroyed homes of SS elite in Berchsgarden (sp?). Interestingly, a friend of mine showed me hundreds of aerial photos his uncle took of the same areas that are larger & higher resolution. We hope to match them up one day with above & below comparison. Here are a few you guys might enjoy. I still have & use the duffle in the Pic. It is amazing what these guys went on to accomplish after the war. Thank you all for keeping us free.
