    I remamber that very well;loved woodwork classes in year seven and again in high school. Helped that dad was a chippie. Bet you can't find a school room like that these days.

    The intersection of Dearborn and Randolph in Chicago, this is a ‘40’s photo but it takes me back to the late ‘50’s. In particular I remember Morrows Nut House.

    Morrows sold nuts and I think they used an exhaust fan to waft the smell of nuts to the passing crowds. It must have worked, the place was always packed.

    Burger Queen started as a drive-in hamburger restaurant in 1965 meant to rival early McDonald’s and Burger King locations.
