these young fellas are residents of the German democratic republik, the license plate says they are
from somewhere within the district of Leipzig. The car is a 1949 Opel Kapitän.

I can see why it was abandoned. It looks like the lumber's all gone.

 

I pulled a motor out of one of those once. We took it out through the bottom.
Don't ask why. It was more than 50 yrs ago.
