This is happened October 12th, 1961, during the Columbus Day Storm. The wind blew down a large Piggly Wiggly sign taking part of the wall with it. I saw this with my own eyes as I lived only a few blocks away.

I'm a ****er for modified tractor pulls. 5 blown 350's, 2 j-57, 3 v-12's... its all good, haha i got my earplugs. 3 v-12's start by a gator loaded with interstate semi batteries starting one, then using the torque convertor, belts and a handle to idlers, to start the other two allisons. I had to P.O. wife one sat night to find that out. no way i left without hearing those wail.. i spent the rest of the night man 'splaining p-38's, yamamoto, and 20 mm cannons to no avail.
