Vampira. She wasn't very good looking but had awesome legs! She was in Plan 9 From Outer Space, the worst movie ever made!
George, in response to your post I agree. California has many things that make it a desirable place to live. But if you live in a place like Broken Arrow, OK; or San Antonio, TX, you might not be so ready to move here. For people thinking about moving to California I would like to give them a few facts. I was born in Glendale and lived here for 77 years. First and foremost, a house anywhere in the mid west that would sell for $250,000 would cost you $500,000 here. Second, state taxes are 10-12%. Third, sales tax averages 10%. Fourth, to register a car with DMV is a minimum of $200. But a medium priced new car is $400 annually. Fifth gas is over $3.20 a gallon for regular. Sixth, the abundance of sanctuary cities. I will not get into the politics of the state because we are not to go there on this site. I do love the weather, the beaches and much of the culture. But the general quality of life has deteriorated and is not getting any better. George you are correct. There are some beautiful places in this country and I plan to find one. Ron

(that was a copy paste. i'm no chemist) its why you huck teflon pans now. i know a few wire factories around here used it in the coatings.
Ron I was also born in Glendale in 1944. We soon moved to Inglewood where my mom and dad had bought a house in 1939 but moved back to Glendale for work. JD

Those were such cool cars. Not real quick, didn't handle especially well, but REALLY big on cool factor to my 17 year old eyes when I bought one, my first car in '67. A chick magnet even back then.
