yeah it's impressive. i saw 4012 when i was a kid. steamtown was in bellows falls vt then. it was in rough shape with birds living in the boiler lagging.
I experienced it rolling through Iowa twice. You won't forget the sound. If you get the chance to see it at speed listen for the jingle and the roar ! You will swear that it's alive.
