When finally gunned down by FBI agents in July '34,
had Dillinger been drawn like a moth to Myrna Loy's
screen presence:eek:, OR was he just enjoying a gangster
pic while superimposing HIMSELF onto the screen?

Nat Pendleton, Myrna Loy and Clark Gable in "Mahattan Melodrama," 1934, thanks
    to Brian'sDrive-InTheater.

Quote Wikipedia: "In 1934, Loy appeared in Manhattan Melodrama with Clark
Gable and William Powell. When gangster John Dillinger was shot to death
by FBI agents] after leaving a screening of the film at the Biograph Theater
in Chicago, the film received widespread publicity, with some newspapers
reporting that Loy had been Dillinger's favorite actress."

Re: Myrna Loy, another one to watch is Wife vs. Secretary, with Clark Gable and Jean Harlow. Myrna Loy is always fun to watch, it's interesting to see Harlow in action, and awesome Deco film sets
