    Yes, it is a Volvo PV834 from the early 1950´s. It is a pickup version of the Volvo PV830 taxi cab.

    Those cabs are Swedish made. Most of them were made with a wooden frame with aluminum skin. They were prefered by drivers since they were bigger/roomier and better insulated than the american standard cab.
