  10. B17 production photos. QUESTION - does anyone know specifically, which version these are? I'm thinking late B17E or is it an early B17F? (not a "G" - no chin turret)

Upon returning to their vehicle, inspectors Bob and Fred of the University Building and Grounds Dept. got a sneaking feeling that their "pass" assessment of the dorm building may have been a bit premature.

Late B-17E, Could not tell if they were early Fs, that would take some more images but they could be, the early Fs without the astrodome and with the (edit) *Waist* gunner 'Barn doors'.

Has two of my favorite things. Junior cars and a Desoto
the little one is a 55 Thunderbird Junior by the Powercar company of Mystic CT and of course a 56 Desoto Fireflite convertible.

Do you have any background on it? where did you find it?

Thanks to Moe, this thread has gotten great, but a little weird....Advertisement on How to Beat Women, A magazine called "Titter", babies endorsing Marlboro's, etc, but I really did enjoy the pictorial history lesson on Indy 500 pace cars! That was very interesting!
