That is a shot from days gone by... Most parks and all the beaches in San Diego are alcohol free now.

Wow, I know this place. The Katz drug store at 39th and Main in KC, Mo.

 

I'm a proud Boomer and my dad ran a one man trim shop. I was the absolute worst helper but I worked cheap. I love these old pictures and can almost smell the rolled and pleated interiors when they were new. I wish I had payed a little closer attention to what he was doing because he was a master. It had to be perfect. I do my own stuff now and a few for my friends but these pictures take me back to a time we will never see again. Thanks to those who contributed.

 

I stopped on my way to work this morning and took this shot of how Handy Andys looks today:

Handy Andy's hasn't changed much except the $2.50 a gallon increase in gas. Almost looks like they're still using 1966 gas pumps.
