  16. Alright, I have no idea where this picture was taken but it took me back to my younger days. If you could go to google maps and get a street view of 936 N Mockingbird Ln, Abilene, TX...you will see the ONLY place in town that would sell shrimp pizza or canadian bacon with pineapple to some kids who asked.:) I wish somewhere here in Indiana would.

    This pic is of the swedish Prince Bertil geting a customised corvette
    as a gift from GM it later got a customised front and was dragraced
    a lot called the snoopy i think its now restored and still in sweden

    In many of the old photos you see very few trees,or even bushes,hedges,like it's all been clear cut.And a fair amount of trash laying around.

    Yeah, I remember the trash everywhere.
    Also note in many of the highway photos the oil stains down the center of each highway lane where oil dripped out of the vehicles. As well, note the dirt on the cars since many of the roads ouside town were still not paved. The road grit just sandblasted parts of the paint off the sides of the cars.

  21. This looks same as the truck my parents said they had when they brought me home from the hospital in it. They said it was dark green.

    I'm sure some was dripping, but more was from the road draft tube as there was no PCV system and motor blowby was directed downward to the road.................
