I was building my A comp coupe in Watertown, MA when you took Forest Hills pic.

 

the issue i was referring to is the one with the showstoppin shoeboxes on the cover i think it says september 1968 i didnt think they still had little pages in 68 so it must be 58

i tried to quote the post with it in it but only showing the issue i was refering to to save some bandidth

ive been having a few issues with the hamb since the overhaul

 

These aren't the highest definition scans (they is what they is) but I think the sept 1960 issue

Is that Barris with a rattle can?? Oh the horror! What's really wierd is there are very few R&C covers I don't recognize!!

 

Does anyone have a cover shot of that famous Car & Driver issue that road tested / compared the Ferrari and Pontiac GTOs? Reportedly, it cause massive subscription cancelations by their road racer subscribers and to this day is talked about as one of the worst ideas ever by an auto mag. Gary
