  18. my boss always said, i'm double-left-handed, but this guy really is! couldn't find out anything , i think his hand is malformed! but whatever, impressive pics, ehdubya! thanks for that..

    A Christie 75mm convertible wheeled/tracked gun chassis that is here seen with a different gun (likely a 37mm) in a "demonstration" landing. A similar vehicle made an administrative landing at Culebra, Puerto Rico during exercises, but declined to cross open surf. The performance was unsat and not adopted.

    Yep, and it's inclusion in that film was all part of the Honda '63-'64 marketing blitz that included a quarter million dollars of airtime on the academy awards and the "meet the nicest people" campaign.

    I guarantee you "the king" would have preferred to be on one of his more muscular rides, but money talks!

    I was just about to post a reply to this when it struck me, the Australian Army has some rather uncouth and derogatory terms for people in service.
    Reserves are known as,
    'Choccos', as in chocolate as they tend to melt under pressure.
    Women are known, and this is Defense wide as, (If you are easily offended please stop reading)
    'Front Bums',
    Its so ingrained they refer to themselves the same!
