It's Captain Ernie!!! I watched him all the time as a kid! Real name Ernie Mims, helluva' nice guy in person. Last I knew he was still with us too.

My dad’s ’33 or ’34. I believe this picture was taken in Alameda CA, but I don’t know where or when. I would assume sometime between 1958 and 1962.

If I remember correctly, dad said he traded the coupe body in the garage for a six pack.

Love the way they did the "15" on the front of the Stutz. Very arty.

'49 Ford next to a '50 Buick sedan, looks like maybe a '51 Dodge sedan, a '56 Chevrolet, '47 Olds, '50 Cad sedan, 46-47 Chevrolet, a '50 Buick fastback parked at the curb. My vision isn't good enough to spot more.

This is a Dallas radio station still in existence today. According to "History of Radio in Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas," it had a number of firsts including the first commercials....

This is a picture of it's transmitter in the 1930's. Kinda reminds me of a WKRP episode.

Now THAT is a car with potential. What is it? Probably got junked or torn up in the jalopy races. Pity...it would be righteous with the right engine in it.
