I'm not certain, but I'd bet a lot that it's Eric Rickman's car, regarding post 51219.

I'm looking for a complete listing of B-25 nose art (just in case you might know where I can find it all.) particularly from the Doolittle Raid.

    Thx.

I'll NEVER forgive Gramma for taking me to the parade that day. I still have nightmares and cannot watch Star Wars movies.

One of Doolittles planes was the "Ruptured Duck "My Father had a jacket from that plane one of his friends was on the raid unfortunately it burned in a storage building fire during our move to our first home we lost almost everything in the fire! luckily it didn't spread to the house we were working so had on to move in .

Wasn't that the featured plane in the movie about Doolittle's raid "30 Seconds Over Tokyo?" It would have been a cool thing to have but at least the house didn't burn and no one was injured or killed.

Sorry but I have no clue I only found out recently what it was from.My dad gave me the jacket only saying it belonged to a friend of his in the army. Some one on a warbirds forum I visited told me it was one of the Doolittle raiders I found that forum because I was searching the Ruptured Duck after reading a thread on here about "Nose art" I had the Ruptured Duck flight jacket and one from a Tanker friend of my dads that was the "Screw ball" that patch was an 8 ball with a wood screw through it from top left to lower right. My parents divorced before I ever thought to get more information on them as a young kid it was just cool to have real war coats!I have not seen the movie guess I'll have to find it and see if the jackets match!

Remarkable images. LIFE magazine? DoD? They look staged for PAO reasons, but still... great stuff. Gary
