    For years I bought every issue of Mad Magazine with my paper route money and read it religiously from cover to cover. No doubt that had a lasting effect on my sense of humor! lol! Remember the folding page at the back that had the hidden message?

    My wife lived in Manhatten & I went to the city when I was young. I remember going to the automat. The food was behind small see through little doors. I think you put the money in a slot by the item you wanted & then you could open the door. There was a hugh selection of food. There were tables where you could sit and eat. That's the best I can explain it. You have to understand that we were there in the early to mid '50's and we were pretty young.
