1958, bomb goes off in apartment at 1034 1/2 Hilldale Avenue. Dorothy Adamson, 28, was dining at a nearby cafe when the bomb exploded

Minor correction this is Jackson County MO but a picture of downtown Kansas City MO KC Power and Light building is the tall one in the background.

This has to be lining up for the Holland Tunnel on the NY side. Not much different today, but the house is gone.

The Lincoln Futura as it arrived at Barris' custom shop looking very sad and still painted red from starring the in the movie "It started with a kiss". What a bargain at $1!

A blown flathead Cadillac in ford roadster? - Mean.

  13. On the other hand, put the scene in a back yard, a little grave dug, and some flowers and a marker and you have a sweet "Ahh shucks" picture.

Please keep them coming. Since I live in Los Angeles, I appreciate the L.A. pictures, especially if locations/descriptions are included.

  15. Eddie, having grown up in a small beach town I find the pictures of "The Big City" fascinating. Just wish I knew where they are (were). If you know can you label them. If not that's OK too, keep posting.

I also like seeing pictures of the insides of shops and stores and look at all the "stuff" they had for sale.

It's the 1955 Mercury D-528 "Beldone" concept car.

  19. The car on the left looks to be a Nash Airflyte, Statesman or similar car.

This is a photo composite. Sammy was not in this film and (perhaps) not in any films in 1953.
