After a bad day today, I found myself in a foul mood. Everything irritated me, including posts on the Hamb. I made the decision to not post any comments until I felt a bit more positive.
Give it a try, the small stuff really doesn't matter that much.

Here is a picture to bring us all back to the subject. Let's work together to get the job done. K ?

    All the best,

NO, I've never noticed them, guess I'll have to go back and see what the BFD is. What did Eddie Rickenbacker have to say about this cars namesake? Bob

Yes, it was built, and still exists in its concept form at the GM Tech Center in Sterling Heights Michigan.
There was also the Monza SS as well as the GT.

Big THANKS, Gary! Sorry if I caused you to repost anything you'd covered before, but it was SUCH a cool ad, God forced me to do it! (Well, the Corvair God:p in the Tatooine System, anyway! LOL.) Those have to be some of the BEST iterations of the rear-engined all-American, eh? If only Nader had kept his nose out of the auto industry.

I have to say SERIOUSLY that Ralph Nader really mucked up a good thing by dragging a car oodles of people LOVED through the mud, didn't he??? And that's not a political statement either. He wasn't a car guy and should have spent his energies on something that mattered, like putting the brakes on war. Seems that the 'Nam experience hurt our nation far worse than the 'vair ever could have, even if it were as "unsafe" as Nader claimed.
