  14. that purple 6 wheeled monaro ute still does the rounds in brunswick victoria, i used to live a street away from the owner, a painter i think. and my how far have fuel tankers come a long way from the ones you have posted. i work for marshall lethlean, one of the big 3 tanker companies in australia.

    There are two things that catch my eye when looking at the vintage car haulers.
    One is I like the trailers. They just have a little bit more class than the ones you see today. The other is the truck, or the lack of. None of the trucks have sleepers. I bet most of them did not have a good heater. These are the guys the country songs are talking about.

    BRITISH MOTOR CORPORATION MOBILE TRAINING UNIT.

    Those vehicles were used to train and educate BMC's staff worldwide early sixties.
    Build by Marshall Motor Bodies ltd., design by Pininfarina.
    Four Units served the US, and two served the Canadians.
    Today, one of the US Units are in Ventura CA, and one of the Canadian Units are at Jay Leno's Garage.

    Toys didn't become dangerous untill adults decided to not be responsible parents.
