  7. I once heard a description of those Caprices as "a whale on tip toes". I thought that was a very good description. Not a good looking car to my mind.

Sorry to break the rules but wanted to share this. I saw a photo on here a while back of the actual truck and wanted to post these photos of the die cast version. It has the Bell Atlantic logo on the door just like the original photo.

I thought this was James Garner's 4 seater 1975 (?) "Indy Style Car", The last time I saw this was in eastern suburb of Birmingham Alabama
in Leeds, Alabama at the Barber Motorsport Museum & Raceway... it was on the bottom floor (restricted access area)
They may have found a permanent location in the 3 story museum to display it since I was there in 2004 ...

It looks like a very busy shopping day on the corner Washington and Bromfield Streets in Boston in this great photo dated to 1932 by the Boston Public Library. The ’32 Ford three window in the foreground has already sustained a ding to it’s rear fender from battling Beantown traffic. The Model “A” Tudor right next to it also seems a little worse for wear for being only two years old.

Stop by The Old Motor and see the whole photo of the complete scene and help us ID the rest of the cars and trucks.

"Tracts"? Iwonder if the paper fired the proofreader after that headline.

There was an advert over here that got pulled because of the innuendo.
"Girls would you like something hot and throbbing between your legs?
    Then hop on a Honda."

Paul, I remember that advert, us young fellows used to say that to girls, never got us anywhere, they only wanted to see our Hot Rod. Ha Ha.

Maybe so, but I'll bet she had a fit over this photo - they caught her with a nice big run in her stocking!:D

Hey, Joe! REALLY, it was "tracts," preaching the gospel of trad hotrodding and customs to hoodlums worldwide! :D

Notice, soon as the 'rodders got their wrists slapped for drag racing, first thing they wanted was to "parley"? Suppose the hack meant "party"? That would be more like 'rodders, eh? :p

Giving the author the benefit of doubt:
