That is a real person. Myrtle Corbin was born in Tennessee in 1868 with four legs. The girl's family quickly realized Myrtle's money-making potential and got her into the sideshow circuit at age 13.

 

Nope, real deal, the extra pair of legs are actually from a partially formed conjoined twin.

 

I wonder what ever happened to her. What year was this? What country?

I can't speak for all of them. My great grandparents came from Italy in the mid 1890's, that picture is how it would of looked when they arrived. After a couple of years they moved west to western Pa and then on to Calif in the early 30's.

The Queen's '59 limo exists to this day in a private collection. I've been one of a fortunate few to have laid eyes on it.
