A 1950/60's Willow ESKY cooler. (No all you K1 W1's, it is not a "chully bun" or no all you New Zealanders, it is not a "chilly bin" :D)

Had one of these in a Holden Ute. They slid into a cradle that was an under dasboard item. Used the car battery while in the cradle:

I never had this model, but a similar type with BOAC on it, with wire to remote control:

my wife sent Vegemite in parcel to penfriends in Detroit ,they used it too thick on their toast ,they likened it to axlegrease ,must be used sparingly ,its an acqiured taste ,but nice,,,

  19. Well I am 58 years old and lived with Vegemite and Marmite all my life.
I hate it and also think it is axle grease.

  20. marmite and vegemite...are evil and must be eradicated......They are made from squashed flies and spider poo....not nice...not nice at all!!

One of the great things about this shot is the fact that for all the design they put into the Dirigible mast there were a couple of big problems then never thought about. One was the fact that it was next to impossible to get a dirigible to precisely hook up the nose cone with all the window flowing between the NY high rises. But an even bigger issue was the fact that passengers would have had to walk a narrow gang plank 1200 feet in the air and then descend down a very small tight spiral staircase from the mast. Something that might be o.k. for circus performers but your average joe would be terrified.

Hi all, I've been lurking on the site for a while I thought I might contribute. Here are a couple of pictures of Roger Miller, #60, at Englewood Raceway. Co. Back in the early 50's. I added a shot of my Dad, also.
