Nice collection of racing Studebakers. My first job was at a Studebaker dealership in 1963 at $1.10 per hour. thanks for posting the pix Joe.

One or two of the inevitable reposts, but overall there have been some great new pics coming up lately. The Ford pics at (I guess) Daytona are Very good quality. They appear to be running pickup hubs and wheels, unless I'm judging the bolt pattern wrong.

Fords wide 5 wheel and hubs were almost universal in use on stock cars like Modifieds and sportsman classes everybody ran them, Most of your quick change rear center sections were based on the Ford 3/4 ton banjo rear with floater axles and the wide 5 was the strongest wheels made at the time. Look at almost any modified type stock car right up into the late 80s and you will find the Ford wide 5 style wheel and hubs even the aftermarket aluminum or magnesium hubs/drums share the same pattern.

Hot dogs steamed in beer; beer served in "schooners". Great stuff. When I was in school in Atlanta (early 70s) there was a Lum's up near 14th Street, where a lot of my money went.

(This picture is not necessarily the Lum's I remember)
