This was from a Studebaker sales guide from 1937. Is that car still in the museum?

 

If you will notice, this is not the usual production GM SceniCruiser. This is the 1949 GX-2 prototype that led to the familiar SceniCruiser of the '50's. That is the reason for the escort, the whitewalls, and people checking it out.
