really love and enjoy seeing all these old pics,i do realize now,i do have an old soul,thanks everyone.

 

....in 1950. This Coupe de Ville was entered by Briggs Cunningham and driven by brothers Sam and Miles Collier who brought it home in 10th place overall.

 

.....at the 1950 Le Mans 24 hours. Le Monstre was a Cadillac frame and running gear with an aero body. Driven by Briggs Cunninham and Phil Walters, after an excursion off the pavement that took a half and hour to dig out of, the Cunningham Le Monstre came in 11th overall, one place behind the stock bodied car.
