    I had a 65 Scout, with factory turbocharger, on a 4 banger.
The removeable top weighed a ton.
The fold down windshield was great if you liked bugs in the face.

Damn, the 7-10 split. It'll take some good ball skills to pick up the spare.

  6. According to Google, this was a staged seating in a 747 interior mock up.

747 went into service in 1969 with PanAm. (order placed in 1966). This photo could be a early 60s mockup of what to expect. Certainly not a 707 or DC8 unless those seats are for Kiddie Class.

Wow! How this skyline has changed. I remember going to Chicago when the Prudential Ins. Bldg (slab bldg, left center) was the tallest in town.

As I said before, the 747 entered service on January 22, 1970, on Pan Am's New York–London route. It was christened by Pat Nixon on January 15, 1970.
We have also established that the photo was a mock up as I also suggested.

Earlier, during WWII, further up the beach,(North)---All the newly migrant defense plant workers from many states did not have housing facilities, so they pitched their own tents for the duration of the war.
Gradually, eating many meals from tin cans, the problem became a nusiance with all the cans building up.
It was then that Huntington beach was commonly known as: "Tin Can" beach.[/QUOTE]

which is now called Bolsa Chica Beach
