Vintage shots from days gone by!

This is all I could find on an IH D30.They must have made a one off custom body if they fitted it to this chassis.

Those crashed up cars make me feel ill. Old tin wrecks differently than our modern, today vehicles.

 

I saw this pic on here a year or so ago and posted it on my facebook page. People went nuts over it and asked the obvious question, what is it. My stepdaughter googled the company name and came up with this.

Notice how they cleared the gravel away from two spots so she could stand in bare feet?

 

Yeah...Looks like the put a piece of plywood down and then covered it with the gravel. Gotta protect those tender feet.

 

I don't think lazy, most of us over 60 didn't grow with the PC world and have to learn what to do.

Easily the nicest one of this era Dodge I've ever seen....maybe the ONLY nice one I've ever seen! I guess it oughta be, it was brand new!

 

Yes, and absolutely stunningly beautiful in the days before cosmetic surgery was available (mostly). No teeth whitening, augmentation of assorted body parts, etc.

By the way, she spelled it "Gene" Tierney like a man more commonly spells it.
