  6. Can anyone Identify the place of the pipc in post 49410? This sure looks like the republican river near orleans Ne. heading into Harlan county resevoir in southern Nebaska. the water is even running in the right direction.

    Looking at the shadows being cast in the bridge photo, I would tend to think this is on the west or south borders of Iowa instead of a bridge over the Mississippi. More specifically, I don't believe we're looking westbound because if we were, that would place the sun in the northern sky. The bridge is either oriented N-S or if it's not, the photo has us looking in a more easterly direction. It's definitely not Prairie du Chien. The PdC bridge enters Iowa in a SW direction. The shadows disprove that.
