My first cruising experience beginning the day I got my license April 4 1963 in my 52 Pontiac Chieftan...deadlocked traffic both directions every weekend and every summer night...A true Fremont St. experience.

Lt. Clark Gable checking out a nose gun in '43. Gable flew
on six bombing missions out of England. His B-17 was hit
by flack and attacked by Messerschmidts on one mission,
killing one crewman. A flack fragment pierced Clark's boot
and narrowly missed his head.
