Yeah, I was a real fashion plate back in 1964. Was the way I dressed and what I drove.

    Rootie.

Never seen this photo. In the foreground are the remains of the 5 and 97 that were instrumental in the accident including the remains of the front part of the 97. in the distance the activity around Pat O'Connor's car. Shows what a real photographer can accomplish, as opposed to someone like me who just takes pictures.

It is a good shot, here's from a different angle:

  7. Jimmy G - Your F.I. hardtop (with Treadle Vac!) looked great. What did the fender emblems indicate on your '56?

  18. My \'57 Bel Air fuelie.jpg
The '57 was a low horse factory fuelie car that I modified to hi horse specs and drove to school for several years.
I learned a lot about cars and hot rodding with that ride.

The '56 was what my dad referred to as a sheep in wolfs clothing.
It was a worn out "6" with 327" flags on the front fenders.
It looked menacing but it couldn't fall off a cliff.
It got me around for $175 for about 2 years so I had no complaints.

The '57 was waay more fun! img035 resized 56 Bel Air.jpg
