Marmon coupe, Harkins Riding stables, late 20's. Pasadena was a relatively rich town with numerous riding stables for the horsie set...like these riders, fully decked out in the appropriate horsie wear of the time.


Orrin Fox used cars, late '20s, E. Colorado Blvd. Orrin Fox later became Orrin Fox Pontiac, and a sponsor for Marvin Lee's "City of Pasadena" streamliner in the late '40s...(the open wheeled version, not the full bodied car that "Puffy" Puffer rolled (at El Mirage, I think)...

The coach's Hudson...this team (guess it was LA something..) was a part of the Pacific Coast minor league --- Los Angeles did not get a major league team until the Dodgers arrived in '59 (I think it was '59), so minor league baseball was all we had (the Hollywood Stars, the Los Angeles Angels [then a minor league team], which this coach may well have been coaching)


Colorado Blvd, late '20s...Pasadena had lots of banks because many Pasadenans had lots of money (until 1929, at least!)
