My MG ran that day won class and lost to Sanzo on a disputed run. Aurora 7 Willys ran a 421 Pontiac at this time.

Too cool Crispb! I didn't realize Renewal had been around that long. They painted the frame for our coupe. They don't do Custom work anymore. Had a hard enough time getting them to paint a frame! I haven't been around here long enough to recognize most of those but a lot of them are familiar.

Now, do you have any from Reedley...?

Photo's of the 'Great Smog' in London, 5-9 December 1952. 4,000 people had died and 100,000 more were made ill because of the smog's effects on the human respiratory tract. More recent research suggest that circa 12,000 died.

Yes Richard Peters and the Ala Carte were Fresno born, interesting also is the scalloped 32 in the back ground, built and owned by Phil Sweet of Fresno. You can find it in the 1959 Hot Rod Annual.
This car was later torched by what was believed to be a rival car club. The damage was not extensive, and the paint was repaired. Rich

Ernest Tubb and his band circa 1962. Ernest is probably best known for the classics "Walking the Floor Over You" and, especially, "Waltz Across Texas." He was born in Crisp, Texas in 1914. Crisp is a ghost town now. It's in Ellis County, abut 20 miles east of Waxahachie. — with Alice Baker Wisniewski, Buddy Charleton and Jack Green.
