I don't think so. Those buses are plentiful where I live.

Snooky Lanson was a singer on Your Hit Parade which was a very popular TV show in the early/mid 50's. The female singers were Dorothy Collins and Gisele MacKenzie.

"...large, unfinished basement with dirt floor."

I think "daylight basement" might also apply.

  12. No idea what the truck chassis is but the engine looks to be a WW1 era Hispano-Suiza V8. 718 cid according to one article I found.

  13. The clue with those early Dodge headlights is that up to 1916 they were mounted behind the front edge of the radiator.

  14. That big blue car isn't a Buick and nor is the original mystery car.

:) I believe that the VW bus that the OP is thinking about is the 21 window version.Last that I saw a nice minty restored one was valued at between 75 and 80K.This was about a year ago.
    Good luck.Have fun.Be safe.

    Thanks, Leo -
That would be one expensive hippie van! Every make has it's ''star''. VW probably didn't have that in mind when they made the 21 w.

Funny you state: " so many of those cars look alike except for subtle differences that make them different."
AREN'T THOSE THE SAME WORDS WE USE NOW DAYS REFERRING TO THE NEW CARS.?
