Video of time lapse pics of a British 4 cyl teardown and rebuild.

The video runs for a couple of minutes and is well put together - worth a view, I say.
(May be slightly OT, but not by much, if it is)

Think I caught two mistakes by the colorizer here - first, they missed the side window frames; second, Olds didn't offer a metallic gold in 1951. This is probably one of the lighter metallics they offered that year: Cascade Green, Dove Gray or Otsego Blue.

What do you guys think of the colorized b&w images? Many look very good to me but little things like that tend to spoil the effect.

I think the colorized images are great. Like a colorized movie, we will never know what it was like to be there and live then, but that gets us close.

I like the colorized pics. Even if the gold is not correct it looks pretty cool.

Yvonne De Carlo. Pre Munsters. A repeat, yes. But oh those gams! Appears to be belting one out for the boys!

Allstate 175 built by 'Puch' I have a 1960, traded a Marlin 30-30 for it in 1966. It perished in Garage Fire 2 years ago. Sears also sold Puch 250 Twingles, saw Ad, never seen in metal. The Wards 350s were Benelli 4 strokes, called 'Baja', also sold 2 stroke 125 cc, I have a 1966, had Fiberglass Fuel Tank and Seat, also destroyed by fire. Since these bikes were laughed at by real bikers, poor boys could afford them.

I don't mind repeats at all....it's not a ''repeat'' if some of us never saw it the 1st time around..... perhaps, a 2nd or 3rd time "look-see", might mean it's worth another look again!!;):D

You think they laughed at you huh!
In 1969 I traded a nearly new 6mm Remington for an old Vespa, I would have been glad to just have gotten laughed at.
Bet they wouldn't have laughed at this though.
