    I really like this pic!!!...that car has some serious 'attitude'....I would imagine the crowds did a lot of staring and whispering as they followed behind these old-time drivers...very cool!

    Must be. The frame in front of the front engine is too light, and since the valve covers don't line up how would the crankshafts be connected.

    Easter Monday Meeting - Brooklands UK. 22 April 1935
    L.P.Driscoll driving the Murray Jamieson Side Valve Sprint Racer. Derived from the Austin Seven, this 750cc, Rootes supercharged engine developed 70 bhp. Very successful in its day, it was not so at this meeting, failing to finish in the Mountain Race.
    Jamieson, the designer, is in the overcoat. He went on to design the highly successful Twin Cam racer and would have gone on to greater glories but was fatally injured, being hit by a car at a Brooklands' meeting in May 1938
