Last time this one appeared, someone replied "I hate it when that happens" Which gave me a chuckle.

Thanks Rod, that was quite interesting. Sad about the driver. I retract my previous snarky comment.

That explains the missing port wing and tail section. Can't imagine how horrifying that must have been to witness. Wonder if it happened at night, even worse.

Must be a early electric prototype? I see the extension cord on the passenger side. Wonder how far it can go?

Another angle, showing the wings torn off under the overpass and another car that was hit - the way the driver's side of the roof is crushed down, this '55 Chevy may have been the one with the fatality rather than the Pontiac (quoting the article, "Pinned beneath the other engine was the car of Mrs. Margaret Rehm, of Islip Terrace, who suffered a leg injury.") 11. I like the photo of the sweet heart on the Pontiac. I use to that with my cars in the day too. Here 20160113_143012_002.jpg 009.jpg 053.jpg 102.jpg are a few of mine. The girl on the Pontiac is in Va. 1970, and same time I took these. Thanks for all tour post Ron...
