    Not an old picture. Newer build from the Masterson shop in the old Barris building in Lynwood.

  7. Hmmm, same logical thinking as when my husband thought our slant 3 horse trailer would make it through the Taco Bell drive-thru in Clackamas on his way home from roping...it didn't quite make it unscathed.

  9. This one has been seen here before. The car is a Studebaker from late 1928/early 1929.

    You should obey the signs...
    or is it;
    "Sledgehammer speed shop" - "Cars lowered as you wait" - "Do you want it bagged as well, Sir?"

    I would say this photo was taken in Birmingham, UK very early in WW2, say early 1940 maybe, as that was around the time that the conversions of essential transport to use gas to save petrol was undertaken. Wasn't a great success and petrol just got rationed instead. Other indication it was early war are the single blackout cover on one headlamp (instead of both) and only the bumpers painted white. Once the Blitz started, white paint was usually added to other area's as well, such as fender edges. The 'OP' in the reg numbers indicate Birmingham.

    ?
    They're both modern pictures of the same car. I think the shot of the car in front of the cemetery looks much better.
