Right! I think the portholes and that thing on the top are aftermmarket stick-ons ala JC Whitney.

The dual air meter injection is a Chevy unit. Bill Thomas experimented with these on his Cheetah and Chevy II's. Cheetah_07_1000.jpg RMasonFI-nobreather.jpg Scan0030_030.jpg 0e5c460f26c68881fdbafbfdd6588287.jpg

I wondered if it was actually a Buick also and the portholes confused me. I looked up Oldsmobile but missed the one you show. Maybe the portholes added by the dealer who did the conversion?

What's this dudes name again? I know this pic is from a movie where he is the ring leader of some car striping gang. Wasnt this guy in a band too?

I think it might be Micheal J. Pollard he played in Bonnie & Clyde.

  15. That's Arch Hall Jr. The movie is The Choppers produced by Arch Hall Sr.
Yes Jr. is still in a band, but I don't recall their name. He starred in several movies, most notably Wild Guitar, mostly produced by his dad.

  17. It pisses me off when you experienced uploaders use image sources that disappear over time.

    Now I'll never know...

The fourth pic down is the corner of El Camino del Mar and Lake St. in San Francisco. Look it up on Google Maps and it still looks about the same! Nice address!
