:D Just a little trivia here. That`s not Michael J. Pollard. When the movie"Bonnie and Clyde"was made,Pollard had never driven a car in his life.He had to be taught how to drive for the movie role.
    Good luck.Have fun.Be safe.

That's Arch Hall Jr. He played Jack 'Cruiser' Bryan in the 1961 movie "The Choppers".

Is this where Richard Rollins got the idea for the name of his place?

Seriously? Not one single "monkey wrench" joke or other primate reference? I am so disappointed in all of you.

You guys have gone high brow. That's the only explanation.

A quickie: Three Rivers (MI) High School 1967 yearbook. This was a '56 Chevy:

(Sad year for TRHS - they lost seven students in vehicular accidents.)

  17. Three Rivers - ancestral home of Armstrong International - mfr of cast steam valves etc. I know ths because PBS Detroit had a program that was hosted by a professor of Wayne State U's head business professor - a back & forth each week between students and Michigan business leaders.

The segment with Armstrongs 5th gen president completely changed the way I looked at business leadership.

Heck of a guy, heck of a company.

Four photo down with the Golden Gate bridge in the background....

Interest to view the same spot now via Google Maps etc and see how it's changed......especially houses that have been demolished and new ones built in their place!!

Apparently it was cheaper back then to buy a horse and hire a driver than to replace your engine when it died.

Don't know what happened to it.

  26. What BS! It worked a couple days ago when that post was made!

(I'm looking for that pic of the early poncho fuel injection - not the purty chromed/polished one on the roadster - the rusty azzed one - the one that had the tubular runners)
